Come and be part of this new and exciting event that will travel along portions of Historic Old 27 June 12 - 13, 2010
Le Tour de Mont Pleasant will bring professional cyclists, crowds of cheering spectators, and a little taste of Paris to our communities. The weekend festivities will include events and exhibitors that promote health and wellness, bicycle safety, great food, artwork, contests, competitive races, a family fun ride, opportunities to meet professional cyclists, book signings, live music, prizes, giveaways and more!
The highlight of the weekend will be the Pro Cycling Race that will feature professional racers from the U.S. and Canada as they race a course over 100 miles long. The course will wind its way across Isabella County, going through Shepherd, Winn, Blanchard, Beal City, Lake Isabella, Weidman, Rosebush, with the Start/Finish lines taking place in Mt. Pleasant. Follow the racers as they fly through the towns and villages in a sprint to the finish line for top honors and prize money.
